As a longtime advocate for the Okanagan's tech ecosystem, I helped lay the foundation for our region's entrepreneurial community. In 2010, I co-founded the area's first coworking space, creating a vital hub for innovation and collaboration that helped catalyze our local tech sector. Building on this momentum, I brought Startup Weekend to the Okanagan in 2012, serving as the primary organizer for the inaugural event. I continued my involvement as a facilitator for subsequent Startup Weekends, helping foster a new generation of entrepreneurs and strengthen our region's startup community.
